Urban Rebound Initiatives, Inc. is a human services organization. We are committed to helping children, adults, and families affected by domestic violence and/or homelessness throughout the New York City area. Urban Rebound, established in New York in 2014, partners with governmental and other community agencies to provide unique services for victims of domestic violence, runaway youth, and the homeless. Our dedicated and trained professionals provide residents in our shelters with safety and supportive services that seek to address the harmful impacts of domestic violence and homelessness. Moreover, we assist residents to access and obtain permanent housing to enhance the potential for economic and social stability.

 

Urban Rebound Initiatives presently has the capacity to house over 1,200 clients in its New York City locations in Brooklyn and the Bronx. and will still continue to grow until everyone is helped.

Services we provide:

• Provide emergency transitional shelter for survivors of domestic violence, runaway youth and the homeless (singles and families)

• Assist survivors of domestic violence, runaway youth and the homeless to obtain permanent housing

• Provide clinical and social support to mitigate the effects of domestic violence and homelessness and enhance their economic well-being 

• Support older adults with limited to no family involvement to obtain clinical and social services and to age-in-place.

• Provide residential services in the communities for people with intellectual disabilities

• Provide residential treatment and recovery services for people with substance abuse
