Chief Executive Officer,

Samuel Agyemang, Ed.D

Dr. Samuel Agyemang is currently the executive director officer of Urban Rebound Initiatives, Inc. In his present capacity, he coordinates the smooth functioning of the various branches of the agency and functions as the lead advocate for both residents and employees of the agency across its various locations in New York City. Above all, he ensures the compliance of rules and regulations for the effective functioning of the agency. Dr. Agyemang came to the Urban Rebound Initiatives with tremendous preparation from Harvard University and Columbia University in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs in health and education. Additionally, he has training in Applied Behavior Analysis from St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia to assess, design, implement and evaluate behavior programs that are socially significant. He has extensive experience in providing behavioral and clinical services for vulnerable people across many voluntary agencies including The Institutes of Applied Human Dynamics (IAHD), Rising Ground (previously Leake and Watts Services), Catholic Guardian Services (CGS), The Federation Employment and Guidance Services (FEGS), Adapt Community Network (previously called United Cerebral Palsy of New York) and the New York Foundling. His education and career background have been a great asset to the organization.

 

Chief Operation Officer,

Kimberly Kay Jones, MS. Ed. Rehabilitation Counseling

Ms. Kimberly Jones currently serves as our Chief Operating Officer, working in conjunction with the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer, in the oversight of all Urban Rebound Initiatives Inc.’s day-to-day contracting, procurement and programming operations.

 

Ms. Jones is a Proactive Behavioral Health Professional with more than 30 years of experience in human services; of which twenty-five has been in progressive leadership and senior management roles.  She brings a wealth of experience and expertise to Urban Rebound Initiatives Inc, including City, State, and Federal program start-up, budget development, administrative compliance monitoring, and development oversight of government-funded contracts and services for special needs populations.  

 

Ms. Jones’ expertise has been gained in both non-profit, contract service provider side, and the city government contract oversight realm. She has worked for, or directly with, the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, the Federal Bureau of Prisons, the New York City Department of Homeless Services, and in collaboration with New York City Human Resources Administration and the Office of Temporary Disability. She is a proven natural leader and motivator, who is ethically committed and an effective analytical problem-solver and collaborator. She believes in equity, transparency, and pursuing the highest standards of performance and quality services. Urban Rebound Initiatives Inc. is extremely pleased to have Ms. Jones as a strategic leader on our executive management team.  

 

Chief Financial Officer

Edward Addae, MBA 

Mr. Addae comes to Urban Rebound Initiative with a master's in business administration from Lincoln University, Missouri, with a bachelor's in accounting from Andrews University, Berrien Springs, Michigan.
Over the past ten years, Mr. Edward Addae has worked as a tax associate for H&R Block where he has been involved in the analyses of comprehensive Federal and State income tax codes with an emphasis on how they affect taxpayers.
